Our School History

St. Cecilia Catholic School opened in 1935, guided by the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur under the leadership of Msgr. William M. Robinson. In our first year, 50 children learned in just two classrooms—laying the foundation for a tradition of faith, learning, and community that continues to this day.

In 1954, a building campaign brought us to our current campus, where students have thrived for generations. Today, our school offers dedicated spaces for art, music, technology, and science, along with a large gymnasium, performance stage, cozy library, spacious Pre-K classrooms, and a serene Grotto—a place for reflection and prayer.

Guided by our motto, “To Serve as Jesus Did,” our students are reminded daily to live with kindness, compassion, and service. With Jesus as their role model, children at St. Cecilia are encouraged to grow not only as scholars, but as caring and faith-filled members of our community.
