About Us

Our Mission

At St. Cecilia Catholic School, our mission is to educate students in a strong, Christ-centered environment where they can grow spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically.

We are committed to cultivating intelligence, nurturing values, and preparing students for further education while encouraging a life of service to the community. Each day begins with a morning prayer service, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and a mindful moment to set the tone for learning and reflection.

Our Goals for Every Student

Individual Attention & Academic Excellence
Every student is known, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential academically.

Spiritual Growth
Students are guided to understand and live the Christian faith in meaningful ways, developing a foundation for life.

Artistic & Physical Development
We inspire creativity and encourage exploration through art, music, and physical activity.

Emotional Support
Every child is valued and respected, building confidence, empathy, and resilience.

At St. Cecilia, our goal is simple: to form saints and scholars in a joyful, nurturing, and faith-filled community.

Our Parish: St. Cecilia Catholic Church

St. Cecilia Catholic Church, the heart of our faith community, was founded in 1933, with the original church building dedicated in 1949.

Tragedy struck on August 17, 2007, when a lightning strike caused a fire that destroyed the building. In the winter that followed, our parish family came together to begin a rebuilding campaign, demonstrating faith, resilience, and hope.

On November 22, 2009, Bishop Kevin Farrell led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new church. Two years later, in November 2011, the new church building was dedicated, a beautiful symbol of renewal and community strength.

One remarkable moment from this journey was the survival of the original statue of the martyred St. Cecilia, the only relic not seriously damaged in the fire—a powerful reminder of faith’s enduring presence in our parish.

Today, St. Cecilia Catholic Church continues to be a vibrant spiritual home, deeply connected to the school and its mission to nurture both faith and learning in every student.
