Mrs. Michelle Peña

Mrs. Peña was born in Dallas. She was originally brought up in Oak Cliff, but lived all over Dallas.

Mrs. Peña is a licensed and certified pharmacy technician. She has taken many child education and child development courses through Eastfield College and is currently pursuing her teaching degree through Dallas Community Colleges.

This is Mrs. Peña’s fourth school year at St. Cecilia. She started off volunteering in PK 3 & 4 then was hired as a teacher aide. She is excited to teach gym this school year while continuing her part-time job in pharmacy.

This year, Mrs. Peña looks forward to meeting and growing in faith with all the new faculty and students, positivity and growth for our community at St. Cecilia, and all the work-outs with her students in gym.

Mrs. Peña is married and has two boys, and a 13-year-old dachshund named Oscar. One of her sons is enrolled at St. Cecilia, and her oldest son recently graduated. She likes to spend her summers floating the rivers in the Hill Country of Texas, enjoying outdoor activities such as her annual family camping trip to Garner State Park, hiking, canoeing, and jogging with family. She also loves going to the movies, shopping, baking, and listening to music.
