Notre Dame Club of Dallas
St. Cecilia is thankful to the @ndclubdallas for visiting our students this afternoon.
Members of the club volunteered to be mentors to our 8th-grade students. Everyone enjoyed @chickfila for lunch in our outdoor classroom! Thank you again, Notre Dame Club of Dallas!
Outdoor Classrooms
St. Cecilia received an incredible gift of an outdoor classroom and garden for our students and teachers. The Kennedy Foundation awarded the grant to us and The Better Block designed and created it. Thank you to @kmleiber and her team for working diligently this summer on this amazing space!
Vegetable garden
St. Cecilia started a vegetable garden in the spring. Now we have harvested our very own potatoes!

St. Cecilia Feast Day Celebration
On Friday, 11/22, our school celebrated the Feast of St. Cecilia with a beautiful Mass. Grades K-2 participated in a procession, bringing in roses, harps, palm branches, and olive branches. Grades 4-5 represented the life of St. Cecilia during the homily. Several students, faculty, and alumni sang and performed in the choir, and our PreK even joined us (and were angels at Mass!). Grade 8 provided the recitation of the Litany of St. Cecilia. At our noon dismissal, we had a cook-out sponsored by the Dads Club and lemonade and smores sponsored by the St. Cecilia Girl Scouts.
